Falls of Foyers, Foyers Village

A steep trail that allows you to get up close and personal with the 165ft waterfall.

Foyers is a modest 20-30 minute drive from the cottage and is well worth a visit.

It's a fairly quick walk, perfect for those days you've got a spare hour to kill, or just want to take it easy.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the viewpoints from the car park at the Waterfall Cafe.

After viewing the waterfall you can opt to just head back up to the road, or (always our choice) follow the trail down and around the valley.

The pine forest trail is really beautiful and a hot spot for red squirrels. There's a squirrel trail to follow that's great for kids and grown ups alike.

It's well worth continuing the trail, because the view of the waterfall from the other side is... something else.
