It's only taken us nearly 3 months, but we've finally built it!
Building makeshift beds and hauling dirt is kinda of okay in near-freezing conditions, but building a load-bearing is less forgiving! Mostly becuase gloves are incredibly cumbersome when handling small parts and power tools.
Despite being a Christmas present from Santa, we couldn't uite bring ourselves to get out there and build it in the cold and snow.
Better late than never hey?! We now have a lovely, wee climbing frame for the little ones to enjoy.
UPDATE
As we've passing Spring and are approching summer, the climbing frame is looking much prettier. The grass around it has grown back, and I've surrounded it with wild flower beds and a seating spot for the adults to enjoy a coffee/wine.
